i’m not the only one out there who non-ironically listens to delilah almost every night, right?
there are other twenty-somethings out there with delilah on the radio as they putter around the kitchen? not just me?
because it’s pretty much become an every night habit around these parts. get home from work, head in the kitchen to work on dinner, and the radio plays from when we start cooking til the last dish is washed. true story: the other night during dinner rob shushed me so he could hear the full story on “delilah’s dilemma.”
when i was a little kid, my mom would tuck me in for the night then turn on the radio and listen to delilah while she worked on projects around the house. it was always such a comforting thing to fall asleep to back then and it turns out, it’s still the same classic cheez all these years later. (she has been on the air for 30 years, y’all!).
non-ironic delilah fan right here. can’t help it don’t want to help it.

I love her voice, but I find Terry Gross on NPR to be more soothing. I’ll sometimes put on a Fresh Air segment while I wind down for bed.
