Stepped out the front door this morning and February hit me in the face. I know this is actually normal compared to the weather we’ve been having, but I’d kind of gotten used to the 60-degree sunny days (even though they freak me out a little bit).
Also, the other day I was feeling brave and sat out on our front porch for awhile, and discovered that the house across the street has a freaking MINIATURE HORSE in their backyard. I don’t know if it’s a good idea to have something that awesome in your yard when you live between a halfway house and a home for mentally ill sex offenders, but I do know that I am feeling very motivated to make friends with my across-the-street neighbors now.
